Soaking in Pastille 1140 is upright and enclosed rather than stretched out. You sit at a set depth with the water well above the waist, not floating in a few centimetres at the bottom of a long tub.

A Japanese deep-soak bath is built to be sat in, not lain in. Pastille 1140 has a flat-topped integrated seat with a radiused front edge and a defined foot well, so you sit at a set height with your feet placed rather than braced. That is deep immersion, properly supported.
